Bryson City – Sophomore Ian Brooks has been named the Farley Insurance Player of the Week for the 1st round of the playoffs.  Brooks scored a pair of touchdowns, one on offense and one on defense, in the Maroon Devils 42-14 win over Cherryville in the 1st Round of the NCHSAA 1AA Football Playoffs.
