Bryson City – The Lady Devils entered play needing a pair of wins to secure their 2nd place standing. When the night ended Rosman emerged in 2nd place after sweeping both ends of the double header. Rosman took game one by the score of 16-7, then finished with a 3-1 win in the nightcap.
In game one the Tigers would score in every inning but the 3rd on their way to 16 runs on 15 hits. Swain got a pair of hits each from Sydney Call, Taylor Shuler, Adriana Kaylor, Gabby Jones, and Bryar Buchanan. Call and Buchanan drove in a pair of runs each, while Adriana Kaylor drove in one.
In game two the teams played a defensive battle. Swain pushed across a run in the 3rd when Taylor Day coaxed a walk. Grace Cabe came in to run for Day, and promptly stole 2nd, and advanced to 3rd on a Karie Jones ground out. Cabe scored one batter later on a passed ball. Sydney Call had a pair of hits and a walk for Swain.
