Bryson City - Individual rankings released this week for wrestlers in each weight class and each classification included 3 Swain wrestlers, and one glaring omission. Cashiers - Swain used a 3rd quarter run, where they outscored Blue Ridge 27-9, to coast to an easy 86-44 win over the Bobcats in non conference action Wednesday.  The 86 points was a season high for the Lady Devils. Devils Hold Their Own With Elite Programs

Candler - Swain participated in the Modified Enka Duals recently.  Enka, Erwin, and Reynolds were the other teams involved, all of which are elite 3A and 4A wrestling programs.  The Devils, as a team, did not win a match, but they did hold their own.  They fell to Enka 57-15, Erwin 44-28 and Reynolds 43-33.
