NCHSAA Keeps “Pod” System For 1A/1AA
The NCHSAA Board of Directors met last week. One of their major discussion items was the current use of the "Pod" system of playoff pairing. Currently the "Pod" is used for football. Swain was outscored 25-5 in the first quarter and eventually fell 94-23 to undefeated Cherokee in the Devils season opener on Friday. Cherokee had 5 players in double figure scoring.
