Maroon Devils 2nd at SMC Championships

Cherokee - The Smoky Mountain Conference held their conference championships on Wednesday at Cherokee.  Swain took 2nd with 146.5 points, just behind 1st place Murphy who had 155.5 points.  The Maroon Devils got 1st place finishes from Ryan Jenkins (3200-meter), Trey Bowman (110-hurdles), Jessie Waldroup (pole vault) and Nick Millsaps (discus).  … [Read more...]

Lady Devils 2nd at SMC Championships

Cherokee - Wednesday the Smoky Mountain Conference held their Championship meet at Cherokee.  The Lady Devils finished 2nd overall with 142.75 total points, Murphy was 1st with 180.5 points.  Sophomore Jessie Lowman snagged the Lady Devils only 1st place finishes on the day in the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles.  Full results for Swain … [Read more...]
