Maroon Devils Finish 3rd at SMC Championships

Old Union Country Club – The Swain High golf team finished 3rd this week in the Smoky Mountain Conference Championship Tournament.  Murphy took top honors with a score of 370, with Highlands just off that pace with a 385.

The Maroon Devils Joseph Eagleman finished 3rd overall over the two day event.  Eagleman fired a 176 to earn All Smoky Mountain Conference honors.  Will Jenkins was right behind Eagleman finishing with a 182, which was good enough for 4th place overall and All Smoky Mountain Conference honors as well.

Both Eagleman and Jenkins qualified for the Western Regional Championship, which will be held May 3rd in Shelby.
