Bryson City – Thursday the Maroon Devil Booster Club held their annual Athletic Banquet at Swain High School. Senior Jack Stuckey was named the prestigious Maroon Devil Award Winner on the evening. The Maroon Devil Award is selected by the coaching staff and is the student athlete that best personifies what being a Maroon Devil means. Noland Brown and Kyndall Cochran were honored by being named the Male and Female Athlete of the Year. Ryan Jenkins received the Most Inspirational Award for his work and perseverance in overcoming autism to become a State Champion. Stuckey and Jessie Richards were honored for having the highest overall GPA of the senior athletes.
