Rosman – On Monday the Lady Devils played tense and uptight in their narrow 6-5 win, but on Tuesday it was a relaxed and confident bunch that put on a dominate performance in a 20-3 5-inning conference win over Rosman. In their first game of the season the Lady Devils defeated Rosman in a tight 4-2 contest. But in this matchup Swain’s bats came alive throughout their lineup. The Lady Devils batted around in the 1st, 3rd and 4th innings in taking the win.
Kendall Bowers went 5-5 with a double and triple, scoring 5 times and driving in a run. Kenzie Eagleman was 4-5 with 3 doubles 3 runs scored and 6 rbi. Brayden Taylor went 3-3 scoring 4 times and connecting on her 3rd home run of the season. Maize Helpman went 4-4 with a pair of rbi.
In circle Stacey Griggs picked up her 7th win of the season. Griggs worked 3 innings and was touched up for all 3 runs. Anneleise Cook worked 2 innings of shutout relief.
