Dalton, GA – Swain wasted little time in getting a big lead on Tuesday. Lady Devils batted around in the 1st scoring 11 runs on their way to a 23-0 win. Swain had pounded out 18 hits in route to the 23-0 win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee. Every Lady Devil saw action and got at least one at bat in the Swain victory.
Kenzie Eagleman had her first home run of the season, and then followed that with her second home run of the season. Eagleman would add a double for a perfect 3-3 day and drive in 7 runs, before coming out of the game. Brayden Taylor added her second home run of the season and finished 2-3 with 5 rbi. Stacey Griggs and Kendall Bowers added 3 hits each for the Lady Devils, while Ashton Younce finished with a pair of hits.
Stacey Griggs picked up the win in the circle, working 2 scoreless innings, before giving way to Anneleise Cook. Griggs and Cook combined for the shutout, giving up 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 6.
