Hiwassee Dam – The Maroon Devils made short work of Hiwassee Dam on Wednesday at Hiwassee Dam. Swain pounded out 17 hits as a team on the way to a 14-0 5 inning shutout.
The hit parade was lead by Ian Brooks and Gaige Southards who both went 3-3. Brooks scored 3 times, drove in a run and stole a base, while Southards drove in a pair of runs, doubled and scored once. Colby Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Dawson Chambers and Damian Lossiah each had two hits. Caleb Taylor, Chambers and Lossiah all drove in a pair of runs in the win.
Dawson Chambers picked up the win, working a complete game striking out 8 and only allowing 3 hits and 1 walk on the day.
