Bryson City – The visiting Murphy Bulldogs scored 8 straight unanswered baskets in the final minute of the game to blow open their game with Swain, taking a 65-48 win. For most of the game the Bulldogs held a 10 point lead until the final minute of play. That being said the Lady Devils played well, trailing by 8 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Freshman Savanna Smith powered the Lady Devils. Smith scored 21 points, while pulling down 13 rebounds. Mazie Helpman finished with 16 points. Bri Ross dished out a season high 8 assists, while Ashton Younce had 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
