Swain once again had to dig out of a hole, but this time it was to keep their season alive. Being in the playoffs is a new experience for the Devils, but they seem to be warming up to the task. Trailing 2-0 to conference rival Cherokee the Devils scored 4 unanswered goals to take a 4-2 first round win. Swain now plays Highlands in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA Saturday at 5 o’clock at Highlands.
Dylan Rose scored two markers for the Devils. Russell Bigmeat and Ryver Gunter each added a goal in the Devils win.
