Sean Webb put the finishing touches on what has been a stellar wrestling career Saturday. Webb finished 2nd in the state in the 138 pound weight class. He lost to Dustin Hoffman of West Wilkes on points by the score of 3-2. For Webb it was his 4th trip to state, he also had 4 Western Reginoal appearances and 4 SMC Championships in his illustrious career, that saw him join only a select group to go over 100 wins for a career. He finished this season with a 30-5 mark.
Jacob Wildcatt also made the trip to the State Championships. Wildcatt had a tough road and took two losses, one to a wrestler who finished 2nd overall and the other to the third place finisher. Wildcatt finished the season with an 18-8 overall record and was SMC Champion.
