Crossnore – The Maroon Devils went to Crossnore this past Tuesday for the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCHSAA 1A Team Duals. Swain downed Avery 52-21 in the first round before falling to Mount Airy in the second by the score of 55-15. For the Maroon Devils it ended their team season, and now Swain will turn their attention to individual championships, which should get underway next week.
