Murphy – Swain used a hot start, and then outscored Murphy 24-9 in the 2nd period, on their way to posting a 74-53 win. The win was the Devils first of the year and first on the road of the young season, Swain is now 1-1 overall and in conference play.
Grant Shuler paced Swain with 20 points, while freshman Zeke Bradley notched his first double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Evan Bradley dished out a team high 6 assists. Phinehas Little added 12 points and Keshaun Beaner 11 to round out the Devils double figure scorers on the night.
