Tallulah Falls
The Maroon Devil soccer team moved to 3-2 on the season with a 3-1 win over Tallulah Falls on Monday. It marked their second straight win over Tallulah as they defeated them last week by the score of 2-1.
In the 3-1 win the Devils got 2 more goals from Matt Mordhorst. Dylan Rose notched his first career goal to cap the Devils scoring.
Last week in the 2-1 win Tallulah Falls got on the board first with a 15 yard shot finding the back of the net. Swain evened the score on a Mordhorst penalty kick. Twenty minutes into the second half the Devils took the lead for good. Jonathan Duncan scored the game winner.
Sweeper Tyler Ellis and goalkeeper Issac Herrin directed the Maroon Devil defense and kept Tallulah off the board to preserve the win for Swain.
