Bryson City – Swain scored 1st place in both the men’s and women’s track meets held this past Wednesday at Swain High School. Five schools participated including Andrews, Cherokee, Rosman, and Highlands, along with Swain. In the women’s meet Swain used strong performances in the jumping and distance events to pull away and take the win. In the men’s division Swain was strong in the jumping events allowing them to outdistance 2nd place Andrews.
