BRYSON CITY, Entire US – Since his freshmen year, Sale has earned top chair placement at the Western North Carolina district band, the North Carolina all state band, the WCU honor band and his high school band. He has participated in the musical as a member of the pit orchestra. A semi-finalist in the International Tuba and Euphonium Competition, he has served as brass captain, loading crew manager, an officer in student government and a Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The Swain High Concert Band has received Superior Ratings for past four years at the Western North Carolina district level Music Performance Adjudication. The concert band performed in 2009 for the 75th Annual Smoky Mountain Park Dedication Ceremony with NC and TN State Representatives and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar.
