Matthew Maennle has notched another major accomplishment in his career. The senior wide receiver has been named to the AP All-State football team. AP’s team consists of 28 players from across the state, in all classifications both public and private.
Maennle finished the year with 66 catches and 22 receiving touchdowns. On the AP team he was named as the Athlete. He was the only player from WNC to be named to the squad, and only one of three 1A players.
