Hayesville scored a narrow win over the Lady Devils in cross country yesterday, by the narrowest of margins. 
Robbinsville, Andrews, Murphy, and Cherokee also participated in the conference meet held at Robbinsville.
Lauren Shell was 5th overall with a 23:01 time, which was more than 25 seconds better than her previous personal best time. Blair Allman finished 7th overall with a time of 23:26. Autumn Demonet was 11th (25:15), followed by Erin Zwick 13th (25:34), and Summer Hight 18th (27:56). Swain competed without two of their normal runners as Tori Swartz and Morgan Lowe were unable to run.
