Valdese – Swain High turned in a dominating performance at Friday NCHSAA 1A Western Regional Track Meet, placing first in both men and women. In the men’s division Swain finished with 132 points to outdistance Mountain Island Charter who had 110 points. The women finished with 153 points to finish ahead of Mountain Island Charter with 104. On top of their team success the Devils ended up setting several school and regional records on the day.
