Cherokee – The Maroon Devils used a torrid 1st quarter to build a double digit lead on the way to a 83-72 conference win over Cherokee on Thursday. Swain ran out to a 27-14 lead over the games first eight minutes. For the game the Devils shot over 50% from the field and controlled the paint on their way to the win.
Junior Josiah Glaspie paced all scorers with a game high 23 points on 9 of 11 shooting. Aiden Southards added 18 points, while Josh Collins chipped in 14. Nathan Bogdanowicz finished with a double-double as he had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Reese Winchester dished out a game high 8 assists.
The Devils will finish off the regular season on Tuesday as they travel to Robbinsville.
