Bryson City – The visiting Robbinsville Black Knights used a strong second half to break open a tight game and take a 78-65 win over the Lady Devils on Thursday. Robbinsville held a slim 2 point lead at halftime.
Senior Robbinsville point guard Desta Trammell carried her team to the win. Trammell finished with 42 points for the game, this included 23 first half points.
Maddie Spates responded with a career high game for the Devils. The senior finished with 24 points to go with a team high 8 rebounds. Makayla Cody had 14 points and 8 rebounds, while Marlee Hicks added 12 points. Amaya Hicks dished out 7 assists.
