Bryson City – The Maroon Devils overcame a sluggish first half to down visiting Highlands 68-36. Swain outscored Highlands 22-8 in the third quarter to pull away after leading 24-20 at the half.
Junior Forward Josiah Glaspie paced all scorers with a game high 22 points. Glaspie scored 16 of his 22 in the second half. Aiden Southards finished with 15 points to go with a team high 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Josh Collins had 13 points to go with a game high 6 assists.
The Maroon Devils will be in action again on Friday as they host Nantahala.
