Bryson City – Swain County High School is proud to announce that senior Mazie Helpman has signed to continue her basketball career at Catawba College. Helpman, a four-year starter for the Lady Devil basketball team, was recruited by several schools before deciding on Catawba. She finished her career at Swain with 1402 career points, good for 5th place all time. During her career she averaged 17 points per game while shooting over 40% from the field.
