Robbinsville – Tuesday the Lady Devils made the trip to Robbinsville to face the first place Black Knights. Robbinsville scored 7 runs in the first to take a commanding lead. But the Lady Devils were able to hold their own over the remainder of the game, with Robbinsville eventually taking a 14-4 win.
Swain had 9 hits on the day, in scoring their 4 runs. Freshman Kaley Parker led the way by going 2-2 with a pair of solid singles. Parker also scored the Lady Devils first run on a Haileigh Woodard double. Maddie Spates, Haileigh Woodard, Savana Smith, Kiersten Smith, Faith Woodard, Kandyce Crisp, and Tori Johnson all had a hit for Swain. Haileigh Woodard, Savana Smith, Crisp and Johnson all drove in runs. While Spates, Woodard, Parker and courtesy runner Bree Wesley all scored.
