Enka – Last week the Maroon Devil Wrestling team participated in the Enka Jet Invitational held at Enka. Swain had some solid finishes by individual wrestlers. Tyce Neadeau took first place honors in the Heavyweight class. Gabe Lillard (170) and Blake Sain (195) both took 4th place overall in their weight classes. Adam Cotterman (138) and Carson Taylor (220) rounded things out for the Devils with 5th place finishes in their weight class.
“We came away with some great lessons and we will apply those to our next opportunity to better ourselves,” state head coach Adam Jaimez on the Maroon Devils performance in one of the first tournaments of the young season.
