Murphy – Emily Ulaner and Gracie Monteith finished 1st and 2nd to lead the Lady Devils to a first place finish at the Jaguar Jungle Run, hosted by Tri County Early College. Swain easily outdistanced Murphy and Hayesville in the team scores.
For Ulaner it was the first win of her career individually. She finished the course in a time of 22:03.46. Monteith was second with a time of 22:52.42. Lily Bjerkness came in fourth for the Lady Devils with a time of 23:31.49. The Lady Devils ran this race without Arizona Blankenship and Amaya Hicks who were playing volleyball.
