Murphy – Swain and Cherokee tied for the top spot at the Jaguar Jungle Run hosted by Tri County Early College this past week. The Devils and Braves both had 42 points and were trailed by Murphy with 56 and Hayesville with 85, host Tri County finished with 131 points.
Kane Jones was the Devils top finisher with a 2nd place finish on the day, in a time of 18:58.13. Swain got 5th and 6th place finishes from Connor Brown and Connor Lambert respectively. Brown’s time was 19:31.08, while Lambert was 19:321.11.
