Bryson City (Special to the MDN) – Recently meetings were held across the state in different regions of the state for soccer. Region 10, which Swain is part of, held their annual meeting for Women’s soccer recently. Swain had 3 players that were recognized as All Region Players. The three players that were honored for All Region were Senior Kate Poss, Junior Kaylee Simmons, and Junior Mazie Helpman.
There was a two way tie for Coach of the Year for the region. Coach Scott Cline was one of the coaches recognized as the Region 10 Coach of the Year for the Swain Women’s Soccer Team.
