Bryson City – The Maroon Devils used a red hot 2nd quarter to run away and take an easy 84-41 conference win over Rosman on Friday. Swain led by one at 19-18 heading into the decisive quarter. Then the Devils went off outscoring Rosman 36-11 over the next 8 minutes.
Senior Judaiah Littlejohn scored a game high 30 points for the Maroon Devils, while Cooper Hyatt added 22 points. The duo combined to shoot 22 of 33 from the field, a blistering 66% from the floor. Reserve guard Gavin Lanning came off the bench to dish out a season high 7 assists for the Devils.
