Kituwah Farm – The Maroon Devil cross country team finished 3rd at the NCHSAA Western Regionals held on January 16th. Lincoln Charter took 1st prize with a team score of 37, Murphy was 2nd with 51 points while the Devils finished with 62 points. Chase Pierce of Murphy took 1st overall with a time of 16:24.94, followed by Caleb Jones of Murphy and Carson Gilliam of Thomas Jefferson.
Austin San Souci finished 5th overall for the Maroon Devils, with a time of 17:421.65, Connor Brown was 8th overall for Swain, he finished with a time fo 17:56.68.
