Bryson City – The Lady Devils built a 18-2 advantage over the games first 8 minutes on Saturday to take an easy 65-22 win over visiting Andrews in basketball action. Swain extended their 1st quarter lead to 32-8 at halftime. Coach Michael Turner substituted liberally over the final 3 quarters so all of Swain’s players saw action.
Sophomore Amaya Hicks led all scorers with a game high 18 points, Mazie Helpman added 11 points 7 rebounds 3 assists, while Savana Smith chipped in 10 points 6 rebounds. Raven Wright finished with a team high 10 points for Andrews.
