Kituwah Farm – The Swain Middle School team edged Hayesville to take first place on Wednesday at their second race at Kituwah Farm. The junior Lady Devils finished with a team score of 26 just edging Hayesville by 3 points. They were the only two teams to compete on the team level.
Arizona Blankenship secured first with a time of 13:03.28, which was a full 40 seconds ahead of Savannah Burch and Emma Ashe of Hayesville. Angelina Lomelli was 5th for Swain with a time of 15:13.00, with Audrey Monteith and Karena Cline finishing just behind in 6th and 7th place for Swain.
