Bryson City – Swain used a 20-7 run over the course of the 3rd quarter to build a comfortable lead and pull away from Andrews to take a 54-45 Smoky Mountain Conference win. It was the Wildcats who led at halftime by the score of 22-20. The Lady Devils dominated in the paint, getting a combined 28 points and 24 rebounds from post players Taylor Collins and Savanna Smith.
For the game Collins finished with a team high 16 points to go along with a game high 15 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Freshman Savanna Smith had 12 points to go along with 9 rebounds. Mazie Helpman added 12 points and dished out 4 assists. Ashton Younce joined her teammates in double figures with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
