Bryson City – One of the most decorated athletes in school history has found a new home. Swain County High School is pleased to announce that senior Emma Pindur has signed to continue her track career at Yale University. Pindur is a 7 time State Champion in track during her time at Swain. Currently she has two individual State Championships, four relay State Championships and one team State Championship. Pindur is the two time defending State Champion in the 800-meter run, as well as defending State Champion in the 4×400 and 4×800 meter relays. She will begin her defense of these titles this coming weekend at the Western Regional Championships.
