Andrews – The Lady Devils jumped out to a 2-0 lead and never looked back in taking an 11-1 conference win over Andrews last Friday. Swain scored in each frame building their lead, while only yielding one run in the 4th inning.
For the Lady Devils Kenzie Eagleman was 2-2 with a pair of runs scored and an rbi. Grace Cabe, Alissa Smith, Alyssa Haymond, Ashton Younce and Willa Bible all contributed hits. Cabe and Haymond both had a pair of rbi to go with their hit. Younce, Bible, Smith, and Kyndle Jones each drove in a run.
In the circle Kenzie Eagleman picked up her 2nd win of the season. Eagleman worked 3 innings scattering 2 hits while striking out 6 and walking none. Stacy Griggs worked 2 innings giving up 1 hit and striking out 3 while walking 2.
Swain moves to 4-1 on the season.
