Tallulah Falls – The Swain Lady Devils soccer team traveled to Tallulah Falls on Friday night. The Lady Devils came away with a 4-2 win. Through some great passing the Lady Devils jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead by the end of the first half. Tallulah Falls answered with one early goal in the second half followed by another Swain goal. With two seconds left in the game Tallulah Falls scored the final goal of the game.
On offense Freshman Isabelle Green recorded two goals and one assist and Junior Kyndall Cochran recorded two goals. On the defensive side Freshman Bri Ross led the way with 13 clears/steals, followed by Sophomore Rebecca Duncan and Junior Jessie Richards each with 10. In goal Senior Josie Parker recorded 25 saves. The Swain Player of the game was Freshman Isabelle Green.
This coming week the Lady Devils travel to Mitchell on Monday for a 5:00 game and will host Murphy at home on Thursday with a 6:00 game.
