Bryson City – The Swain County high school golf team started their season off at Smoky Mountain Country club on March 6th with a nine hole tournament against Andrews, Robbinsville, and Rosman. Leading the way was sophomore Isaac Baker with a 7 over 42 and placing 2nd overall. Next was Junior Nick Dole with a 9 over 44. Senior Holden Petty finished the day with a 48 (+13). Rounding out the top four scores was Junior Cody Letterman with a 57 (+22). Competing in his first tournament was Senior Brodie Bowman, and he finish the day with a 58 (+23). The team will travel to Sequoyah National on Thursday March 8th.
