Bryson City – Swain High School is proud to announce that senior Seth Parker has agreed to continue his football career at Carson-Newman University. Parker, a three year receiver, finished his career at Swain with 40 receptions for 910 yards and 9 touchdowns. During his time he also played on the defensive side of the ball as well as returned punts, showing a versatility that made him appealing to many schools. Parker is also a standout on the basketball squad at Swain, averaging 15 points per game.
