Bryson City – Rosman was able to hold a 5-7 point lead throughout Saturday’s conference tilt with Swain. In the end the Tigers pushed it to 9 to take an 84-75 win over the Devils. The difference in the game was easy to spot as the Tigers went 39-47 from the free throw line as a team, while the Devils only attempted 11 free throws on the night. By the time it was all said and done the Devils had 4 of their 5 starters foul out of the game, on top of that all 4 had to sit for long stretches due to fouls.
Brier Younce paced Swain with 23 points before fouling out late in the 4th quarter. Hunter Call finished with 11, while Gaige Southards and Bradley Vestal had 10 points each. Zeke Bradley pulled down 15 rebounds to go with 5 assists and 3 steals. Seth Parker, who averaged over 19 points per game over the last 4 games, scored just 8 points in limited time due to foul trouble.
