Bryson City – Swain stormed back after trailing 23-28 at the half, taking the lead midway through the 3rd period. From there Swain managed to maintain the lead and hold on down the stretch to take a thrilling 49-48 win over visiting Highlands.
Senior Lynsey Hicks scored a game high 22 points. Hicks also dished out a game high 5 assists to go with 3 steals and a pair of blocked shots. Grace Cabe finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Taylor Collins had 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
