Bryson City – Swain senior Grace Cabe has been tabbed by the Smoky Mountain Conference as a member of their 2017 All Smoky Mountain Conference Team in volleyball. Cabe who played middle for most of the season for the Lady Devils led the team with 242 kills and had 48 total blocks on defense. Both of which were 2nd most in the SMC during the season. She added 37 aces as well.
Brette Pattillo and Alissa Smith were named as Honorable Mention All Smoky Mountain Conference.
The Lady Devils finished with an 11-12 overall record and were 5th in the SMC.
