Bryson City – Swain soccer loses a close one to Murphy at home. The Devils got on the board first by a quick goal by Freshman Zachary Cline. Murphy answered later in the first half with two goals. Going into half time Murphy was up 2-1. In the second half Senior Brody Randall found the back of the next to tie the game 2-2. Close to the end of the game Murphy scored to finish the game 3-2.
On the defensive side Senior Preston Robinson led the way with 11 steals, followed by Freshman Anthony Reyes with 9, Freshman Chase Burrell and Freshman Zachary Cline with each having 7. In goal Freshman Noel Wolf recorded 15 goal keeper saves.
