Rosman – It is never easy to play in Rosman, especially volleyball, where the Tigers have been one of the top teams in the Smoky Mountain Conference for years. So chalk up the Lady Devils 3-1 win at Rosman on Tuesday in the highly impressive category. Swain showed no ill effects from their home loss to Robbinsville last week as they downed the Tigers 25-17, 11-25, 25-23 and 25-23.
Grace Cabe paced the Lady Devils with 14 kills, while Taylor Collins added 6. Setter Makayla Riordan finished with 9 assists, while Ashton Younce had 7.
