Hayesville – Swain jumped on Hayesville early and never looked back in taking a 9-0 win on the soccer pitch. The Lady Devils got their 9 goals from 3 different scorers.
Kyndall Cochran scored 4 more goals, upping her season total to 27. Cochran has shattered the school record of 17 goals in a season, set by Storm Ledford. Mary Villagomez added 3 goals of her own against Hayesville, while Brette Pattillo notched 2 markers. Pattillo also had 3 assists, while Cochran added 2 and Mae Duncan assisted on one goal.
On defense, Josie Parker posted the shutout. Parker finished with 9 saves in the first half, before giving way to Brynnae Rhinehart who finished with 11 saves. Sharlotte Queen-Jackson finished with 9 clears, while Haley Cooper, Kylie Pond, and Reagan Beck finished with 7 clears each.
