Bryson City – It was a case of same chapter different book for the Lady Devils. Swain gave up 7 runs in the first two innings, eventually losing 9-3 to Murphy on Friday.
Despite out hitting Murphy 11-9 the Lady Devils were unable to score after the third inning. Swain also hurt their case with five errors on the day.
Grace Cabe, Erin Jenkins, Bryar Buchanan, and Kenzie Eagleman all had a pair of hits each for Swain. Buchanan and Alissa Smith drove in a run each, while Eagleman, Jenkins and Alicia Green scored the Swain runs.
