Cherokee – Swain’s Lynsey Hicks has been named to the All Smoky Mountain Conference Basketball team. Hick’s a junior guard for the Lady Devils averaged nearly 12 points a game this season. She also averaged 3 assists and 3 steals per game for the Devils.
Joining Hicks on the All SMC team were: Tiffany Holloway (Andrews); Pooh King, Tori Teesateskie and Shelby Wolfe (Cherokee); Savanna Annis (Hayesville); Emma Stroup, Jessica Beckner and Aubrey Clapsaddle (Murphy); Maddi Garland (Robbinsville).
Swain’s Taylor Medlin and Grace Cabe were tabbed as All SMC Honorable Mention selections.
