Denton – South Davidson finished the first quarter on a 19-10 run over the Lady Devils. Swain fought back throughout the game but in the end the Wildcats took a 61-46 1st round win. South, who entered the game as the higher seed, outscored Swain by only six points over the next three quarters to take the win. Swain cut the lead to two at one point, but could get no closer.
The Lady Devils finish the season with a 10-16 overall record.
