Winston-Salem – This past weekend the NCHSAA Held their Indoor Track State Championships in Winston-Salem. Swain had our best finish at state in Swain History (for girls) – we left with 5 points and 30th place (out of 44 teams) gained in pole vault ( 6th place by Ashley Winchester w/ a jump of 8’0″) and the 500M run (Emma Pindur – 7th – ran w/ a time of 1:22.8 – a PR); Additionally Maggie Burns competed in LJ – had a jump of 14’1″. And Tanner Wiggins jumped 10’6″ in Boys PV.
